The Charlesworth Group is delighted to announce the appointment of two important senior staff in line with its strategy to build and develop its long history of providing publishing services into and out of China.
Ella Chen joins The Charlesworth Group in China as General Manager, responsible for the Beijing team. Ella previously worked for the BMJ Publishing Group and Elsevier in Beijing. Her appointment reinforces our position as the leading provider of publishing services in China. Building on nearly two decades serving the international STM market locally, Ella will be developing our service offerings to existing and new customers. Her appointment also helps to provide local leadership for our Charlesworth Author Services division, targeting the local Chinese academic author market.
Regarding her appointment to The Charlesworth Group, Ella comments: "It's terrific to be joining an expert global team with such a strong brand. Also joining us is Mark Huskisson, who has takes a new role as Global Head of Product. Mark is well known in the industry, with over 25 years' experience working for Proquest and Cambridge University Press. Based in the UK, Mark takes responsibility for developing products across The Charlesworth Group's services.
